As part of the celebrations marking Nicosia’s designation as the Capital of Europe, and on the occasion of his birthday, the internationally acclaimed painter and writer Andreas Karayan presents his new exhibition titled “Landscapes”.
The exhibition will be hosted at Gloria Gallery and will run from 4 to 17 February 2026, offering the public the opportunity to experience a new body of work by one of Cyprus’ most influential contemporary artists.
The official opening will take place on Wednesday, 4 February 2026, at 19:30, and will be officiated by the distinguished painter and scenographer Andy Bargilly.
The exhibition follows a major moment of recognition for Andreas Karayan, who on 26 May 2025 was honoured by the House of Representatives of Cyprus with the Grand “Stasinos” Award, in recognition of his lifetime contribution to painting, literature, and contemporary Cypriot culture.
“Landscapes” stands as both a personal and cultural milestone, celebrating artistic continuity, creative maturity, and the enduring dialogue between art, place, and identity.
